[Video] Interview with LG Electronics’ Edwins Wanzunzu on their mobile strategy for East Africa

This is an interview I had with LG Electronic’s mobile communications division manager for East Africa, Edwins Wanzunzu yesterday. In the interview, he talks about LG’s mobile strategy for the East African region, from entry-level feature phones to their high-end Android L Series smartphones including the newly launched LG VU Phablet.

What is apparent is that LG’s strategy is to offer exceptional value at a relatively competitive price for their entire mobile range irrespective of which consumer demographic is being targeted. In addition, according to Edwins, LG has big plans for the coming year in the mobile space and the fact that Google recently used them to manufacture the Galaxy Nexus 4 shows that they are really on the move.
