Strathmore University launches SITT Program.
Strathmore University’s Faculty of Information Technology this morning launched the Strathmore Innovation and Technology Transfer Program (SITT). The launch was held at the Nairobi InterContinenal at a breakfast meeting that included top executives, policy makers, stakeholders and industry leaders in Kenya’s ICT sector.
The chief guest at the event was Dr. Bitange Ndemo who is the Permanent Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Information and Communication. Also in attendance was Mr. Paul Kukubo who is the CEOÂ of the Kenya ICT Board, as well as Nick Nesbitt who is the CEO of BPO Kencall.
The SITT Program is an initiative to establish a technology and business incubator within the Faculty of Information Technology at the University. The long-term objective of the program is to establish a self-sustaining technology and business incubator in Strathmore University. More information on the SITT Program can be found here>.
