Netflix Launches Free Plan For Its Android Mobile App Users In Kenya.
Netflix, has today launched a free plan in Kenya that will allow users to enjoy almost all of its content on android devices without having to pay for a subscription. The rollout Netflix’s free plan kicks off today and will only be available throughout Kenya.
To sign-up for the service, subscribers need to enter their email address, confirm they are 18 years or over and create a password. They will then enjoy personalized recommendations, parental controls, and can create multiple profiles (including Kids).
Recently, Netflix also launched a mobile only plan in Kenya at Kshs. 300 alongside the Basic plan (Kshs. 700), Value Plan (Kshs. 1 100 ), and Premium plan (Kshs. 1 450).
The free plan will allow people in Kenya to access most of Netflix’s shows and films ads-free with personalized recommendations and parental controls.
