41-year-old swimmer qualifies for Olympics

Dara TorresI just picked up this story about Dana Torres qualifying for the US swim team in the 100 metres freestyle on CNN this morning. This, to me, is simply amazing! Coming in second in the race this weekend was 25 year old Natalie Coughlin. With achievement, Dana makes history as the oldest American swimmer ever on an Olympic team! I just got back into the gym a month ago – after a long hiatus – so as you can imagine, I am duly inspired to get back into the best shape of my life! Dana, keep the golden oldies going, and win that Gold!
