In this video from earlier this week I unboxed the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the stunning navy blue colour. The Z Fold 6 is Samsung’s newest foldable phone, and it’s packed with a broad range of exciting features and functionalities!

First Impressions.

1/ Design & Build / The phone feels premium and solid, with a glass and aluminium build. It’s surprisingly lightweight for its size and folds seamlessly. The hinge feels stronger and more robust than last year’s Z Fold 5 and also it comes with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the front and back. It also looks and feels very squared off compared to its predecessors including last year’s Z Fold 5.

2/ Display / When unfolded, the massive 7.6-inch screen is bright and vibrant—perfect for multitasking or watching videos. The front display is also sharp and easy to use when folded. Both screens have an impressive peak brightness of 2,600 nits!

3/ AI Features / The Galaxy AI enhances performance and battery life, while Google Gemini AI assists with tasks like language translation and note-taking, making the Z Fold 6 smarter and more intuitive.

4/ Cameras / The Z Fold 6 has a triple-camera setup, which I can’t wait to test out more. The camera system offers flexibility for various shooting scenarios, including ultra-wide, wide-angle, and telephoto lenses. From what I’ve seen so far, it looks like it’s going to take some amazing photos and videos.

5/ Processor / It comes with the powerful Octa-core Qualcomm SM8550-AC Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor which has a broad range of features and functionalities that make the Z Fold 6 a high performance device.

Battery & Charging.

It comes with a 4400 mAh battery, which supports fast charging, wireless charging, and even reverse wireless charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is available in Kenya with a starting price of around KES 215,000.00 at most retail and online shops.
