Speed Test: Zuku 8Mbps VS Faiba 5Mbps
I recently had the opportunity to have two fiber to the home (FTTH) Internet connections. These are the Zuku 8Mbps Internet connection which I have had for over 2 years (and has subsequently been upgraded to 10Mbps for new customers) and a Jamii Telecom (JTL) Faiba 5Mbps internet connection which
Zuku gets even cheaper fibre broadband Internet.
Let me start by saying that I really have nothing personal against Zuku except the fact that they need to figure out how to cope with the overwhelming demand that they have for their low-cost uncapped and unlimited broadband WIMAX Internet service. Its been a no-brainer for over a year

For a moment there, I thought that all the Safaricom 3G promotions, Orange Kenya Internet cornucopia, Zain Internet splurges and KDN Butterflies had all but exhausted the rush for low cost Internet for the Kenyan consumer. Clearly, I was wrong! This week Zuku has lowered its Internet packages’ pricing considerably!
